My most commonly used papers are luster and matte. Both papers minimize reflections and are economically priced. Numerous other options are available though. Silver metallic paper is a high-gloss paper that produces rich, saturated colors. Cotton fiber watercolor papers provide an elegant distinctive texture.

Canvas is a popular substrate for photography as it projects the appearance of a fine-art painting. Options for wall art include mounting the canvas on gatorboard and framing, wrapping around the outside of a wood frame (called a canvas wrap), or adding a float frame to the canvas wrap.

There's a great deal of craftsmanship that goes into the making of a black and white print. After all, these type of images often involve more than just printing with black ink. My printer uses four different combinations of black and gray inks. And if there's any kind of color toning involved (sepia toning, for instance), the experience of your printer becomes indispensable.
